Its hard to wrap your head around the notion of a fourth dimension but this app comes pretty close. Im not sure how it works but you actually get to see a 3D image without the use of 3D glasses and rotate it to see how the fourth dimension alters its shape. Very cool app.
It might take a while to grasp the actual concept of 4th dimension, but this app does a great job explaining how it works using a tesseract. Fantastic animations and models to really help you understand it!
The last "page" is the best part. I want more apps like this to share with the grandkids.
Ok, this is hard to express, as you really need to see this app in action for yourself to better understand how this thing works! But suffice to say, with a very sleek 3d presentation and even a section that enables you to see a 3d object in actual 3d without glasses is extra cool! The only drawback I would say is that the app might be priced a tad high (but it still reasonable).
Thanks for this! This is a perfect example how interactivity helps to grasp very difficult concept. Will it be possible to play with pyramid in 4D?
Smooth, cool and mind boggling!
Ive always wanted to get my tesseract license; thanks to this app, I am a full practitioner of fourth dimensional objects! :D
Its a great app! The problem is, you use it once or twice and then bury it deep into a folder, only to pull it out when you compare apps with somebody. If only it cost 1 or 2 dollars at most. Ps. Great graphics and physics engine!!!
I want my money back. I thought this would educate me. Nothing new but a boring presentation that a high school student can outperform. Google 4th dimension and save your money. This app should be free. Give me my money back!!!
A graphical depiction of the fourth dimension that doesnt mention time (except once, in a joke)? A cursory treatment of a heady topic, that should have built on Einsteins thought puzzles about trains and light beams - mental fun with a light article, instead of fundamentals with light particles.
Its an awesome app, it explains the 4th dimension well. However, in my opinion you should create a new app or add-on; the fifth dimension
Its not easy as a three dimensional being to understand the concept of higher dimensions, but this app is really great for helping to visualize another dimension from a 2 d interface, in a 3 d world! I especially enjoyed the page that employed stereoscopic vision to actually see the 4th dimensional "shadow" as it moved across the 3rd dimensional cube. Really cool.
A great app to help demonstrate what the fourth dimension is like when your friends and family cant follow your garble on the subject. This ones a keeper!
My mind is blown, and I am entertained. This polished little package has affected the way I view the world. The fourth dimension isnt time, necessarily... Its just another way of looking beyond what comes before. Great purchase and a thoughtful experience!
Thank you very much, feels good to train my brain to see out of the box !
Well done. Wonderful way to visualize a difficult subject. It will be interesting to think about Time as the 4th dimension and try to visualize the implications.
Very cool and the rotations are very stable. It made understanding these geometries much easier. It would be great to see other 4d shapes/polytopes as well like the simplex or orthoplex. Great visualization tool!
Nice app! It really made me understand 3D shadows better. I had a case where, by twisting a scrambled Rubiks Cube in 4D, I got a solved 3x3x3 in less than a millisecond.
Its easy to understand - well, about as easy as understanding the fourth dimension gets - and the interactive parts are wonderful. The writing is especially good! I was actually laughing out loud at most of the comments; it feels almost like Douglas Adams or the Welcome to Night Vale writers had a hand in this. Overall, absolutely lovely app. Now if youll excuse me, I have some tesseracts to operate.
