“Not only can you blow your own mind over and over again, you can also enjoy watching your friends’ minds being blown in front of you.” — Cult of Mac

“One of the coolest apps Ive ever used... The Fourth Dimension is to boring learning apps what Carl Sagans Cosmos was to staid science documentaries.” — BuzzFeed

“The app is very cool, and its unlike pretty much anything weve seen in the App Store.” — The Verge

“This is one of my most favorite iOS apps ever.” — George Musser, contributing editor for Scientific American and author of The Complete Idiots Guide to String Theory

(App Store user reviews follow.)

“Blew my mind. I generally dont use learning apps as theyre mostly gimmicks. This one, though, truly made me think. I hope this developer comes out with more outstanding apps such as this one. Bravo!” — Iceitic

“Astounding. That some people care passionately enough about tesseracts to go create a fantastic app for others to understand them is incredible. The app is extremely well designed, wittily written, and executed with love. That alone is worth buying it, besides the fact that I learned what the hell a tesseract was.” — Duncan MacMichael

“Fantastic! This is what someone really smart, and who really knows how to teach well, can do with a tablet. And the authors are funny, too, which is a neat bonus.” — DNY

“Fantastic app. I work at a leading UK university. If only all our material was this well written and presented. Definitely worth buying and then spending a bit of time with over a day or two to get your head around the fourth dimension. Great app!” — JulesFM

“Great job! This app does the best job explaining the 4th dimension. Why learn it in some boring classroom when here you can have an interactive and visual explanation.” — Aco Strklalj

Pros and cons of The Fourth Dimension app for iPhone and iPad

The Fourth Dimension app good for

This is an astonishing app. I thought Id never understand The Fourth Dimension, but the simplicity of this app is jaw dropping. Worth every penny. Next stop guys: 11 dimensions of string theory.
Finally I understand what a tesseract is. It was broken down in progressive steps that made things clear. Prepare to enjoy math!
There is one small problem with the app, and that is that the tesseract is only projected onto a 2D space. This doesnt make learning it impossible, but not as easy as the idea of cubes projected onto a 2D world.
We need more apps like this one! Thank you for developing it and please keep up with the good work!
Very successful visualization aid, and nicely done. Clean, clear, good visuals. Thanks.
I thought it was a game... I bought it, thought the entire thing was an intro to the game... It wasnt...

Some bad moments

One star for bugging me to review this thing 6 times in a row. Ill quit leaving 1 star reviews when you quit bugging me with requests that wont go away.
I want my money back. I thought this would educate me. Nothing new but a boring presentation that a high school student can outperform. Google 4th dimension and save your money. This app should be free. Give me my money back!!!
A graphical depiction of The Fourth Dimension that doesnt mention time (except once, in a joke)? A cursory treatment of a heady topic, that should have built on Einsteins thought puzzles about trains and light beams - mental fun with a light article, instead of fundamentals with light particles.
This is a great way to learn what The Fourth Dimension is. Please continue to develop apps like this!!!
Pretty cool app, but it doesnt quite make clear whether the 4th Dimension is something that is really supposed to exist somewhere in the universe or whether it is merely some kind of abstract/philosophical/mathematical/theoretical concept.
This app is really solid. I still struggle to understand The Fourth Dimension with my puny brain but this helps a lot. Give it a go if youve ever been curious at all about this.
